Apple to Start Producing Line of Macs in United States in 2013
Apple has announced that it will shift some of it’s production to the United States in 2013. One of the current line of Macs will have its production shifted from China to the United States next year. AAPL will spend $100M to make this move happen. Apple CEO Tim Cook did not elaborate on which Mac product will be involved in this production change.
Shares of Apple have stumbled recently, trading at $547 at the time of this article. These production changes have been responded to positively, however, as shares have jumped since the announcement.
