According to multiple sources at Mobile&Apps and The Wall Street Journal, the next version of Apple’s iPhone will feature a new 4”+ screen; significantly larger than the current 3.5” screen that has been the standard since the phone’s original release in 2007. Production of the new model is set to begin in June.
While there hasn’t been an official word on the exact changes to be made, or information on a release date or price, an increase in screen size is likely, and could be an indicator of Apple releasing multiple models and versions of the iPhone 5. With production set to begin sometime in June, that would point to a release date similar to the iPhone 4S, which was released last October.
